ABOUT MYSELF I CAN TELL YOU THAT...

Here I am, I'm Sonia, I'm an actress, I work in the cinema and on TV, but I have a strange passion for the radio, I like to be a friendly voice that spreads through the radio waves until it reaches each of you in the most distant places. I can, while staying in the same place, travel  around the planet. Power of the radio and the great music of the 70s/80s. But let's see how my passion for rock, pop, blues and disco of those wonderful years was born. The credit goes to my co-host Pier Sandro, also an actor, whom I met several years ago on a film set, and who filled my head with names of bands, soloists, great stars of the 60s, 70s and 80s, making me to know a world unknown to me at the time. He had also been a radio speaker at the end of the 70s, with the birth of the first Free Radios, and he really knows a lot about it. Once he invited me for a weekend in London, how wonderful I thought, so many things to see. We spent almost all our time in a record shop, where he stocked up on rare and hard-to-find LP editions. We still managed to visit a few places in the city. When Radio Leon proposed to me to do a program with music from those years I immediately thought that my partner had to be Pier Sandro: And for 2 years every Sunday morning from 9 to 10 we have been in your company with Polvere di Stelle, an immense reservoir of music, perhaps a little vintage, but which certainly still fascinates today as yesterday. We have so much to share with you!
